For Children Project
Previous Projects
Project
Duration Sept 2007 – March 2008
We targeted 20 disadvantaged children (aged
9 to 18) with disability, who were not active in outdoors
and indoor sports, from Westminster
Council's deprived areas especially from Queen's
Park and Church Street areas. The facilities couldn't
be provided by their parents due to their
dependency on low income and in most cases
welfare benefits. Despite pure interest the
parents were unable to commit time and resources
for the benefits of the sporting activities
of their disabled children.
It is here that we were able to develop, support and
encourage children with disability to participate
in a variety of sports and activities. Our
project definitely impacted on Every Child
Matters 5 Outcomes which is Being Healthy,
Enjoying and achieving, staying safe and Making
contributions

and Saturday at 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Methodist
Church -Fernhead Road, London, W9 3EA . Project
